Choritos a la Chalaca
In El Callao, one of the coastal cities of Peru, it is very common to find restaurants that offer Choritos a la Chalaca. The key to this dish are the mussels, which are marinated in lime juice. In addition, sliced onions and tomatoes are added. It is usually accompanied with the classic choclo, plus a touch of cilantro for garnish.
